Ingredients

  • 300g Japanese rice (short-grain)
  • 590ml water
  • 170g salmon fillet (with skin)
  • 75g peeled edamame
  • 9g toasted sesame seeds
  • 1.5g salt (adjust to taste)
  • 5g soy sauce
  • 2.5g sesame oil
  • 1 sheet nori (seaweed), cut into thin strips
  • Ninja 11-in-1 SmartLid Multi-Cooker - OL550

Directions

    1. Rinse the Japanese rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.

    1. Add the rinsed rice and water to the Ninja 10-in-1 multicooker’s inner pot.
    2. Place the salmon fillet on top of the rice.

    1. Close the lid and move the slider to the pressure cook function.
    2. Select low pressure, and set time to 3 minutes, then press start

    1. Once cooking is complete, allow to rest for 10 minutes before carefully release the pressure and open the lid. Remove the salmon and discard the skin.
    2. Flake the salmon into small pieces using a fork.

    1. Add the flaked salmon, edamame, sesame seeds, salt, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the rice.
    2. Gently mix everything together using a rice paddle or spoon.
    3. Sprinkle the nori strips on top just before serving.

    1. Serve warm in bowls and enjoy!
