Ingredients

150g seafood mix (thawed if frozen)
- 1/4 onion, sliced

30g bacon, cut 1 cm strips

150g cooked macaroni (about 50g dry before boiling)
- 5 tbsp flour

500ml milk
- 1 tsp consomme granules

15g butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste

50g shredded cheese
- 1 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional)

Directions
- Add seafood, onion, and bacon to the glass container. Select ROAST mode (10 min) and stir halfway until onion softens and bacon browns slightly.
- Add butter and flour directly to the mixture; stir to coat ingredients.
- Gradually pour in milk while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Add consomme, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and continue ROAST mode for 20 minutes, stirring twice midway as the sauce thickens and bubbles.
- Stir the pre-cooked macaroni into the thickened sauce to combine evenly.
- Sprinkle cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Switch to Crisp mode for 10–12 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Rest 3–5 minutes before serving so the gratin sets slightly.
Recipe Note
Stir frequently while heating to prevent lumps in the sauce.
